A wearable multi-sensor device has been shown to identify short-term declines in function that remain undetected by standard EDSS assessment.

Dr Kristen Krysko from the University of California, San Francisco, USA, provided the ECTRIMS audience with details of the study, in which 68 patients with MS were assessed every 6 months for up to 2 years (median follow-up period 10 months).
